Back To School Boy's Bedroom Makeover

My boys are on their second week of the new school year.  My oldest son, Liam is in 5th Grade and my youngest son, Jaxon is in 2nd Grade. And as their mom, its been a bit hard on me. I still remember sending them off to Kindergarten like it was yesterday.  It's wonderful to see them learn and grow, but it just feel like it all goes by so quickly, which I know every single mom can relate to. Am I right?

So anyway, to give my boys a fresh start for the new school year, I gave their bedroom a bit of a makeover.

Our Beach Boho Master Bath

I was going through my files of photos and came across these ones of our master bathroom and I realized that I had never got around to sharing them with you.
So I thought I'd go ahead and post them today.

Patio Progress

I have been busy working on fixing up our patio this summer and today I wanted to share some of the progress I have made to it so far.  So first, let me show you a before picture:

A new Hammock on our Patio

Guess What?
I won a giveaway! I was so excited, My Sweet Savannah was hosting a giveaway for $100 to spend at Stylish Rustic and I won!

I could pick out almost anything I wanted from their online store, and I chose a new hammock for our patio and this cool green camp lantern.

I Painted Our Hot Tub!

I know, Right? It's unheard of, I totally painted our hot tub!
Well, technically I didn't paint the actual hot tub, but I painted the hot tub surround.
But still, I've never heard of anyone who has painted their hot tub before, have you?
But I'm guessing if you own an old hot tub like ours, then you will be wanting to paint yours after seeing this.

Okay so here is our hot tub before, it was looking pretty worn down.

Painting Rattan & Bamboo Furniture

I don't know about you, but I love rattan furniture and I have always been drawn to it.
Well actually, I love Wicker, Rattan, Bamboo, and Sea grass. It all has a hand crafted, tropical look that meshes so well with the rest of my easy going, beachy boho style.

So when I first laid eyes on this rattan mirror from Target, it was Love at first Sight and I knew I had to have it for our mantel.  Then later when I found this matching coffee table at a thrift store I knew it was meant to be. Fate brought us together.

New Camp Decor

As I've mentioned plenty of times before I love to go camping. My family and I plan several camping trips over the summer months. There is just something so relaxing about being out in nature, surrounded by trees, swimming in the lake, feeling the fresh mountain breezes, sitting by a campfire, star gazing, and crisp cool mornings. Just this past weekend we got together with a bunch of friends and we all went camping by a lake here in Idaho. It was so much fun. We are already planing another camping trip soon.
